museum of horrible livejournal icons

I still have a ridiculous amount of LiveJournal icons I downloaded in the 00s and some of them are, well, horrible. Here they all are.

No, Rihanna did not invent this phrase. She might have made this icon though.

Secretary is not a very good movie.

Wow, someone really wants to show the internet just how edgy and cool they are!

I already regret starting this. I appreciate the use of the cartoon dollz but... yikes. Stop.

Pants! Sure, why not? This could also go on loan to the Penguin of Doom Memorial Gallery of LOLRANDOM!! XD XD below, to be fair.

Gonna need less edge on that, my dude.

If you know, you know, and you know why it's in this section.

I'm so naughty, tee hee!

I haven't thought about Sinfest in at least 5 years, and that's probably for the best.

If I tell you that "numquam" is Latin for "never", does that help?

See above comment about Sinfest.

spork

*gif of Mr Burns awkwardly saying "yes"*.
Apparently it's a quote from Lenore, one of many spooky cute cartoon characters who was a thing at the time.

Yep, sure. The cinnamon buns are hypnotising me!
Now I'm thinking about that woman on tiktok who so perfectly captures the "I'm so random and ANNOYING ... pancakes! XD" energy in her random girl sketches.

We really did run that joke into the ground, didn't we?
I had to delete a facebook status from 2007 where I complained about the urge to add "hammertime" to Stop signs because it made me cringe so much.

2007 was the year of the lolcat, and the lolcat is the reason why I don't think millennials have any right ripping on Gen Z for rizz and skibidi toilet
and anything else they say we don't understand, because no one who ever said "I can has X?" has any right to comment.
Anyway, everyone knows cats sound like disparaged Victorian children, and/or Gollum.

Yep, it's le epic awesomesauce icon, something about bacon, or maybe burritos, since I don't think bacon was a thing then.
